What is medication synchronization (Med Sync)?
Medication synchronization is an appointment-based clinical service where our pharmacists coordinate all of a patient's recurring maintenance prescriptions so they refill simultaneously on the same calendar day each month.
How do pharmacists align medications that have different refill dates?
To align your medications to an anchor date, our pharmacy performs short fills (partial fills) with insurance authorization or coordinates with prescribers to adjust dispensing quantities. Once synchronized, all medications renew concurrently.
What happens each month before my synchronized refill date?
Approximately one week before your anchor date, our pharmacy team contacts you to review your current medication supply, confirm any doctor dosage changes, and verify whether you prefer in-store pickup or free home delivery.
Can Med Sync be combined with Dispill multi-dose packaging?
Yes. Med Sync and Dispill are natural partners. Once all medications are synchronized to the same monthly date, our pharmacy packages your complete regimen into monthly Dispill blister cards and delivers them together.
